Back to Rufus Rufus Visits the Henceroth Family

Henceroth family, Elyria, Ohio

Thurs. 3-29
I arrived at the Henceroth family household in Elyria, Ohio while Emily was in school. She will be so excited to see me! Emily is in first grade with a bigger brother Benjamin in sixth. She has two older sisters in college also, Stephanie and Courtney. She arrives home and opens my traveling box -- what excitement! Emily introduces me to her Ty buddies and my second cousin, Rufetta. We check out BGs and have a snack. She tells me what big plans await us these few days. Tonite we'll have dinner, study spelling words, and watch TV. Big day tomorrow!

Fri. 3-31
I'm going to school with Emily. What a nice class and teacher. Mrs. Conti makes me a special desk in the front of the class! Emily's mom, Nancy, will come in today and tell the class about me and read my book. I get to watch a movie and go to lunch with Emily. Her mom takes pictures of me with all her friends and teacher. Tonite we are going to go to dinner alone because Benj and Emily's dad Bryan are going camping with Boy Scouts. We have a good dinner after our evening shot. We get to Karaoke too! Emily has a very good voice for a little girl! What fun, I'm really tired, we go home check our BG's and hit the pillows!

Sat. 3-31
We wake up, check out BGs, have a good breakfast and off to ballet. I get to workout with the little ballerinas! Emily's mom takes our pictures. I'm tired already! We get to go to the movies today to see "Spy Kids" if we're good! We check out BGs and go out to lunch. Yum! I can hardly eat because I'm excited about the movie and tonite Emily will have a sleepover! The movie was exciting and we munched on diet soda and popcorn. Kayla, Emily's good friend, is camping out with us on the family room floor tonite after dinner. The girls and I make a tent to sleep in. We are having so much fun playing games. We have snacks after we check out BGs. Wow, I'm ready to fall asleep right now, Emily sure is busy!

Sun 4-1
We have to get up early and clean up. BGs, breakfast and a shower because we are going to a bridal shower! I can hardly keep up with this kid! I met alot of nice people at the party. Yummy food and fun games! We snuck a few too many M-and-Ms and our BG was too high! I have to start packing because I will be leaving tomorrow. I'm going to miss Emily, we've been sooooo busy!

Mon 4-2
I stayed home while Emily went to school. I'm getting ready to ship off, going to New York! This trip is so much fun, hope I see these kids again sometime! I kissed Emily good bye this morning, I'll miss her! Good bye Elyria, Ohio, off to the Santana family in New York!
