Rufus arrives! Rufus and Josh met right after school. Rufus was a little shy, so we just let him relax this evening. Josh tested Rufus and gave him insulin.

We took Rufus to visit Mimi and Pappy (my grandparents) and he met Brandon (my cousin) too. We took him to see the remains of Three Rivers Stadium. He was sad to see the mess. He did like the new baseball and football stadiums that are being built.

We took Rufus to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. I wanted to show him the dinosaurs. He was glad the meat-eaters were just bones! We both wish we could have seen the plant-eaters when they were alive. Rufus and I had our picture taken with Dippy, the huge dinosaur outside the museum.

Rufus got to see the snow this morning. Six inches at least. I didn't have school today, but I did get to take Rufus to the doctor with me. A lot of people talked to him at the doctor's office. I hope we have school tomorrow so I can take him to kindergarten.
