How satisfied are you with your diabetes care regimen?

Poll dates: September 25 - October 2, 2013
Total Votes: 48

Two weeks ago, we asked our readers about their insulin regimen. This week, we asked them about their satisfaction with that regimen. As you can see, about half (52%) report being very satisfied, with another 12% extremely satisfied.

Being satisfied with your diabetes care regimen is important, because it correlates with how well you adhere to it, as shown in a recent study (see reference below). If you're not satisfied with your regimen, discuss options with your diabetes care team at your next clinic visit. There are many ways to manage diabetes, and finding the one that works best for you is important.

For more information, see Adherence in adults with type 1 diabetes mellitus correlates with treatment satisfaction but not with adverse events. Free full text available in HTML and PDF formats.
