What are your kids' plans for Halloween?

Poll dates: October 26 - November 2, 2003
Total Votes: 536

With more and more kids using insulin regimens that include the fast acting insulins NovoLog® or Humalog®, it's easier than ever to include candy and other treats in a meal plan. Over half of our readers report doing just that -- letting their kids collect candy and eating it by integrating the carbs into their meal plan.

Since having diabetes can make kids feel isolated and alone, being able to participate in holidays and festivities is very important. Insulin pump therapy or multiple daily injections with Lantus® and NovoLog or Humalog, along with frequent blood glucose monitoring, can help our kids enjoy Halloween, as well as other holidays.
