What product do you or your child use most often to deliver insulin?

Poll dates: July 16 - 23, 2000
Total Votes: 914

Syringes are the most common way to give insulin, with 67% of people reporting using one kind or another. B-D leads by a wide margin.

Insulin pens, very common outside the United States, are used by 15% of people who responded, with Novo being used by about half of pen users.

Insulin pumps are used by about the same number of people who use pens, with about half of pump users choosing Disetronic and half choosing MiniMed.

Insulin users have a great variety of options to choose from. If you're unfamiliar with pens or pumps, you can read about them in our Syringes and Injection Products page, or you can ask your diabetes team to explain them to you.
