Hi, I'm Sydney and I am 8 1/2 years old. I have diabetes like some of you other kids do. It is type 1. Sometimes I yell and scream about it but every one does it once in a while. The insulin shots are fine, but sometimes they hurt and I cry. I love fingerpricks because all my friends think I am super brave because I take my shots.
I was diagnosed with diabetes in 1997. Every year we and our neighborhood do the Walk for Diabetes since we heard about it. If you want to here more about my diabetes life, E-Mail me at [email protected]
