Tara's photo To see me in my most natural setting would be with my Mom and little sister who is ten, and bigger than me! And Brian of course. I'm blond and petite and athletic and skinny, but sometimes it's nice. You can fit where no one else can! And besides my Mom is very small.

Sis - "Desire" and I love to dance and sing and eat out and baton - we took lessons and marched parades since we were 8, and 7. Brian, who's my Mom's boyfriend spoils us rotten. My Mom gets exasperated cause he's too good to us! We've been together for 3 years now. My diabetes was diagnosed last April when I fell from a swing and cracked my sinuses and couldn't get well. It was scary and all not knowing what was going on with my body and really scary in the hospitals - especially when I got my first insulin! (My Dr. took me by ambulance to two different hospitals) cause they were so worried.

Then, of course, there's my club I go to almost daily. Swimming's my favorite! Everyone calls my sis and I "The Little Mermaids." And Diabetic Camp was awesome!

And at school, I met a new friend and guess what! She's a diabetic! So it was so cool. Cause we both have to go to the office for snacks and blood sticks! And my Mom worries at times - my Dad lives in Ohio and he gets upset at me if he thinks I exercise too much or eat wrong. But in all I'm happy and can't wait 8 more months till I'm 13!
