From Roseville, California, USA:
I am 45 years old, and as a teenager was diagnosed with Stein-Leventhal syndrome (PCOS), and my 13 year old son has type 1 diabetes. Is there any relationship between my PCOS and my son's type 1 diabetes?
Additional comments from Dr. Bill Jones:I agree that there is probably not a relationship between your PCOS and the son's type 1 diabetes.
