From Saskatchewan, Canada:
Is a blood sugar level of 10 mmol/L (180 mg/dl) dangerous?
It depends. An occasional blood sugar of 10 in someone with diabetes is common and not in itself harmful. What matters is the average blood sugar over many years. In someone without diabetes a blood sugar of 10 is unusual and should be followed up. 10 is never a "dangerous" level.
