Why is it that diabetics tremble, sweat, feel anxious and are confused when they go into hypoglycaemia?


All the symptoms you report are due to the release of hormones (epinephrine and norepinephrine) as part of the counterregulatory response of the body's hormones in response to low blood sugar.
