My 9 year old nephew has diabetes. I am pregnant and wondering if preservation of the core cells (in my placenta) could be potentially helpful for him or general diabetic research. I'd appreciate your opinion on this matter.
Answer:
As far as I am aware, saving any tissue from your placenta will not help your nephew.
