By participating in a clinical trial, you or your child can help advance scientific knowledge. That can help find new ways to treat diabetes and possibly help find a cure or ways to prevent it. There's no guarantee that you or your child will benefit, however.
Here are some places to look for clinical trials:
- Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Studies Seeking Volunteers from the NIDDK/NIH
- ClincalTrials.gov has links to all NIH-funded clinical trials
- CenterWatch clinical trials listing service
