The 5,000 Step Club
At CWD, we believe in exercise as a way to stay healthy! Beginning at Friends for Life this summer in Orlando, CWD will promote The 5,000 Step Club at all of our conferences. Anyone may participate! All you need to do is agree to walk a minimum of 5,000 steps during the course of the conference.
It's easy! At registration, stop by the counter labeled 'The 5,000 Step Club.' Fill out a short form, pick up your pedometer, and you are ready to go! Once you have reached 5,000 steps on your pedometer, come back to the same counter at Registration and pick up your '5,000 Step Club' t-shirt! And keep the pedometer as a way to track how much you walk each day.
Anyone, any age may participate. Children 12 and under, please have a parent come with you to the desk to sign up. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, kids of all ages, please join us! And take that first step toward 5,000!
Many thanks to LifeScan and Animas Corporation for sponsoring the first 5,000 pedometers and t-shirts for The 5,000 Step Club!
